What is Coaching?

Coaching is simple in concept. First, we determine what you want to accomplish; what your goals are. Second, we discover what's keeping you from reaching those goals. Inevitably, you realize that it's you, you're the one keeping yourself from reaching your goals, or this should be your conclusion. Although circumstances may have contributed to your present state of mind, it's your responsibility to improve your life. As a coach, I will help you discover what it is about you that is blocking your forward progress and what's keeping you from reaching your goals. It could be the need to think differently; approach a situation from a new perspective. Has stress, anxiety, and depression seized your life? If so, we need to find the cause, so you can stop the over-thinking and out-of-control emotions and move forward with your life. Is there a lack of confidence or self-esteem?

           As Your Coach

I will observe, discuss and share how you see yourself, how other people see you, and your perception of how others see you. This understanding allows you to determine your effect on others and understand outcomes from your interactions, bringing to light your own and other people's perceptions of your strengths and weaknesses, allowing you to see yourself more clearly, and develop accordingly.

It is important to follow a specific process required for change and improvement to move forward in your life and live the life you deserve. I can help you to recognize what needs improving, leverage your strengths, and improve your weaknesses. Please schedule a consultation to discuss your goals and determine if we can work together to get from where you are to where you want to be.

      See Yourself More Clearly

Your thoughts, feelings, and perceptions create your life. Therefore, your inner narrative needs to be supportive and direct you towards your goals, not fighting or criticizing you and creating inner turmoil.

You need to "see yourself more clearly." Simpler said than done. Most of us have a somewhat blurry vision of ourselves and often have assumptions about ourselves that need to be questioned and confirmed. Being self-aware or clearly seeing ourselves is an essential ability that allows us to be effective in all aspects of our lives. In addition, people are more willing to relate to someone with a clear and accurate view of themselves.

We define who you are, your strengths and weakness, how you deal with your emotional triggers, and how you feel and think about yourself, other people, and the world around you. We learn where your thoughts and emotions come from, increase awareness of your thoughts, feelings, and perceptions of self; what your inner dialog is saying about you, other people, and the world around you.
